DIY solar electric superbike making it light as possible is the most important objective.
I fabricated
– aluminum seat post, and wider handle bars
– 1″ stretch on the front wheel made from polycarbonate..
– looking into titanium sprockets for the rear drive and kinetic generator.

Two big things I noticed in this project is that I can make parts really light no problem. The weight issue comes from the mounting hardware needed to secure these light parts…
Another is if I take all the time to get titanium custom parts made.. why bother.. I should just look into newer materials like magnesium, which is lighter than aluminum !!!

Also testing extra thick Bridgestone inner tubes, 0.25″ larger than the tire size with 40-50psi.. bike rolls really well now..

These mods should make more room for the solar fairing in the front.
