Let the light pierce through the darkness Close all old accounts, turn a new leaf Re-learn that old lesson of friendship Kill nor be killed, settle for lessening Amidst us of this fossilized hatred
The Solar Post Light
Bringing The Light of Day into The Night
Perhaps that time has not come yet when our, Gods would listen to the beats in our hearts, peace and happiness spread their glow, perhaps we would have to force Mother Time?.
The Solar Post Light
Welcome to the Solar Post Light where I will be presenting new information regularly about out door solar lighting. Solar post lights, solar lamp posts, solar garden lights and a multitude of other topics including solar shed lights will be covered and at times individual products will be reviewed. If there are new innovations in out door solar lighting you will find it here at The Solar Post Light.
So what is this all about? Well for a variety of reasons we tend to light up our yards. Some times we are decorating the yard with things like solar Christmas lights or solar accent lights. Other times we are just trying to help visitors find their way or just stay safe while walking in our yards or walkways. There are even solar lamp posts which resemble old time street lamps that give that classic look to the drive way or front yard. Solar lighting is perfect for this because it doesn’t run up our power bills and requires no expensive installation since there are no cables involved.
Now I haven’t gotten into the whole Global Warming thing because it is a debatable point and it is not the purpose of this blog to debate this point. But if you are trying to reduce the effects of global warming solar lighting is a great place to start.
So for ideas for using solar lights or what to look for when buying solar lights, or for just about anything having to do with solar lighting stop by The Solar Post Light and if we don’t have the information you are looking for just ask. We’ll find it for you. Thanks for stopping by.
Handcrafted Redwood Garden Bridges for Koi Ponds !
Joe Guraro, owner of Clovis, Calif.-based Redwood Garden Bridges for Koi Ponds, starts the design process with a series of questions. Will the bridge need to accommodate the elderly or young children? How often will it be used? How much weight should it hold? The answers help the company craft a well-constructed, safe product.
Homeowners and designers can choose from a variety of bridge styles, railing types, and accessories to achieve the look they want. Bridges can arch high over pools to leave room for swimmers or sit low over koi ponds, reflecting light into the water from solar post caps. They can also be short or long, with a minimum span of 4 feet and a maximum length of 40 feet. Material options include California redwood and composite lumber. solar panel fence post lights?
out of 20 lights 4 are on during day and the rest at like there suppose to checked the rechargeable batteries replassed with same stiil are lit
It sounds like the sensors aren’t getting enough light (or maybe a shadow is being cast) that signals for it to illuminate it’s light. Also, maybe the sensors have dirt or dust that makes for a dark sense from the light as well. Try cleanig off the top of the soensor panel, and move the light away from any shade that may be present. Also, try swapping the light with another that appears to work correctly and see if there is a difference. good luck
What is a Solar Path Light?
One of the most popular types of Solar Post Light is the Solar pathway light. This is a light that simply lines a path, walk way or drive way. These can often seen lining the walkway to the front door of nice homes. They serve several functions besides lighting the way not the least of which that they are aesthetic and tend to decorate the property. Below you will see some uses for solar path lights and will get some pointers for setting the solar panel properly. But as they say “a picture is worth a thousand words so here is the video.
How to Install a Solar Lamp Post
Solar Lamp Posts are the royalty of solar post lights. They are more complicated to install than most solar post lights that you simply drive into the ground like a stake but they are far easier and cheaper to install than traditional outdoor electric lighting. There is no wiring to do or under ground cables to mess with so they are generally much cheaper to install.
There are exceptions however. When the City of Los Angeles installed Solar Lamp Posts in their parks, several skilled workers such as electricians were required by the union to stand around watching the Solar Lamp Posts being installed. Still because they take less time to install money was probably still saved on the installation.
So now lets take a look at how it is done:
